Vettel: Hungary’s government does not regard us as humans – VIDEO
Members of the Hungarian government criticized Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton many times last year. That was because the two Formula One pilot stood out multiple times for the LGBTQ community in Hungary after the Hungarian parliament accepted its controversial, so-called anti-LGBTQ law. Vettel said it was not surprising they became targets then.
Vettel: government thinks we should be nothing more than pilots
The German Formula One pilot raised his voice against Hungary’s new law in his official press briefing before last year’s race. Therefore, some members of the Hungarian government said that a pilot should be concerned with driving instead of formulating opinions on other issues. However, Vettel regularly addresses social and environmental protection issues.
Motorsport.com now asked Vettel what he thinks about the proverb he was slammed with in 2021: “let the cobbler stick to his last“
Vettel said that such statements are given by somebody who gives orders and tells others what to do. Such leaders expect police officers to take into custody those people who they think policemen and policewomen should.
Environment protection in Formula One?
Vettel announced before the Hungarian Grand Prix that he would retire after the 2022 season because he wanted to spend more time with his children. He added that he would like his kids not to live in a worse world than he lived.
Vettel was slammed by many that he wants to protect the environment while he is a pilot in one of the world’s most polluting sports. The German pilot acknowledged that he might be regarded as a hypocrite. But he tries to facilitate changes in F1. For example, he drove two carbon-neutral cars during the previous two races.
“We are in an endangered position, but that is especially true to the generations following us,” he highlighted. “We literally burn resources”, he said, adding that he is not proud of every part of his work. He cleared that fact contributed a lot to his decision to retire.

Every statement of Vettel, in this article, is more intelligent than anything I’ve ever heard from a Fidesz politician.
just another hypocrite leftist globalist degenerate

@Wes
Maybe so, but Vettel is still a massive hypocrite who not only drives a massive in a sport known for carbon pollution and being sponsored by Armaco. He also has a higher carbon footprint than the rest of us for needing to fly across the world for his races and
In all, Vettel can go and jump in a lake before he starts lecturing us on climate change. Heck, maybe he can start taking action by downsizing his $7 million mansion in Switzerland.
No, he probably he wouldn’t do that as he is too comfortable in his lifestyle while he continues to lecture us poor peasants.
